Question from Marco
I have a cat who is 2 years old. For a long time I am using drontal tablets to deworm her. But, recently it seems that the tablet is not working. What can be the matter? Any suggestions.
Our Vet Says:
Hi Marco, it would be a good idea to check Jessys weight to ensure you are giving her the correct number of tablets.  If she is under 4kg she would only require 1 tablet, and if between 4-8kg would require 2 tablets.  If you have been doing this correctly I would advise you to take her for a check up with your local veterinarian to check she doesnt have another problem.  Have you changed her food recently?  If this was done too quickly it can cause an upset stomach.  She is also perhaps suffering from hairballs.  There are a few possibilities and with the help of your vet you should be able to make a diagnosis.
