Question from Nakita
Hi. My bullmastiff Lola id chewing her paws. We have put her on Allergy medication, changed her food and put her on cortisone. Nothing works! Do you have any suggestions on how to prevent her from chewing? Thanks
Our Vet Says:

Hello Nikita, many thanks for your question.

I am sorry to hear that Lola is chewing her paws. Sometimes, your floor cleaners can cause a dog to react by chewing the paws, try to change it for a short period and notice her. You can also feed her chewing treats whenever she starts chewing this may help to distract her.

However, at times, it can also be due to compulsive behaviour. You can take her to your local vet for an examination.
