Hi. Tottles is very active for her age and weight (gave her a good home when friends went overseas) for the last 3 or 4 days she has been walking with her head down and isn’t as active as usual. she is eating well. I checked her paws and teeth and pressed her muscles to see if she seemed sore, but nothing seems wrong there. Any advise?? Thank you

Our vet answers

Hi Shirley Ann, Sorry for the delay in response. Tottles may have a sore neck. It would be best to get her to her veterinarian for a full check if she is still showing this behaviour. Being a Dachshund, there is a worry of disc problems in their backs, which could be causing the problem. Otherwise she may have sore joints from arthritis. With a full clinical exam your vet will be able to assist.  I hope Tottles feels better soon!

Greetings, I trust that you are well. I have purchased an order on the 15/04/2019 with Budget pet Supplies of which I have given my three dogs the Bravecto Spot on as per the weight of each one of them. Given them the spot on and its a week now and they continue to itch themselves. They have been on the Bravecto tabs of which I put them on the spot on after their 3 months depleted and its the first time I am seeing them itch so much and all three of them are itching Please help

Hi There. firstly i apologize for listing our bird under the dog and puppy category - the option for birds does not come up :( Iqra is an african grey aged 10 months. i have a huge concern that his/her feathers are coming off around his/her neck. to the extent that it looks like a wound (there is no blood). I have been advised to get Medpet Premolt 5 but not quite sure whether this will help. Please can you tell me why this is happening and what is on the market which i can use to help iqra? He is looking quite undernourished and his tail is looking withered. Pleaseee help.... Thank you in advance

Greetings Dear Sir/Madam, I trust that you are well Angel cannot stand for long and seems to be found leaning against something when she is tied. She has a new habit on standing with her left hand and leg on the coach and the right hand and leg on the floor and lately seems to have just the right hand on the floor and the rest onto of the coach Seems worrying as when I give her a bath as well, she seems to quiver after a while as she cant seem to stand long Thank you

Dear Sir/Madam I hope that you are well. A few years ago,, I used a Dip to control ticks and fleas on my dogs. What would you suggest is the best dip to use that will keep ticks and fleas away as our area has alot of grass. I would really appreciate your assistance. Regards Kim

I have a 2 year old kitty and she has a problem. She keeps licking her wounds so much so that she doesnt let them heal properly. What can I do to stop her from licking?
