Q: What are the postage and shipping costs?

We provide free shipping to major cities* for orders above R500 and weighing less than 30kg.

For orders under R500, we charge R75 for the first 10kg for the major cities* and thereafter additional R5 per kg. For deliveries to areas other than major cities and remote areas, we charge R100 for the first 2kg and an additional R10 per kg thereafter.

Q: How long will it take my order to arrive?

Most orders are processed the same day. However, in some cases it can take upto 48 hours after receipt of payment to process. In case any item is not in stock, we will notify you about it.

Most orders are delivered in 2-5 business Days.

Q: Do you provide tracking number for the order?

Yes, every order dispatched has a tracking number. You will receive these details by email as soon as your order is shipped.

Q: What are the modes of payment?

It is quite easy to order and pay at Budget Pet Supplies. You can pay through VISA or Mastercard credit card. Budget Pet Supplies offers strong 3-D security system with an SSL security certificate.

Q: In what currency are the products on the site?

All the product prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR).

Q: Do I need prescription to order from your site?

Budget Pet Supplies only offers ‘Over the Counter’ products in South Africa, where it is sourced from and therefore no prescription is required for the online purchase.

Q: Do you offer vaccines?

We are not able to provide vet line vaccines for any animal. You need to contact your veterinary for the same.

Q: How can I check the status of my order?

Q: What do I need to do to change the order?

We can only change the order if it has not been shipped. To change, edit or update your order, please email us immediately at support@budgetpetsupplies.co.za or call us at +27 87 056 8850.

Q: How do I cancel my order?

We can ONLY cancel your order if your order has not been shipped. If you would like to cancel your order, please contact our customer care team immediately at support@budgetpetsupplies.co.za or call us at +27 87 056 8850.

Q: Can I return the product?

In case an incorrect product is delivered or there is any problem with the order, please inform us in writing or call us at +27 87 056 8850 within 5 days of receipt. We will not charge anything for this return.

In cases, where an order has been placed incorrectly by the customer, the order will have to be returned at the customer’s cost. A 5% transaction fee may also be charged on the same.

For all returns and refunds, written approval from the customer care team is required. All products have to be returned unused in their original sealed packaging to be eligible for refund.

Budget Pet Supplies shall not be liable to the customer for any negligence, miss or tampering of the products by the customer.

Q: What can I do if I am not happy with the product?

For any reason if you are not happy with the product received from Budget Pet Supplies, please email us or call us immediately at +27 87 056 8850 and will try our best to provide a resolution.

Q: Are your products from genuine brands?

Budget Pet Supplies only stocks products of genuine brands with longest expiry dates. All the products at our store are selected by qualified professionals, and all products are checked and verified before shipping to ensure the products are correct and safe.

Q: What should I do if my card keeps declining but it is not overdrawn?

The most common error is leaving space between each of the four sets of digits – there should not be any spaces. Also check the expiry date. Please call us at +27 87 056 8850 and we will try to help you. If still you face the error, please try to contact your credit card company to ensure that the transaction with budgetpetsupplies.co.za or online transactions are not blocked. Our system is secure under 3-D secure system (SSL technology). If you are a first-time user, you will automatically be directed to the page of registration.
