Question from Jessica
My pet seems perfectly fine. Do I still need to deworm him?
Our Vet Says:
Hi Jessica,
Yes all pets need deworming regularly to help keep them healthy.  Worm eggs can lay dormant in the soil for many years and these eggs may infect your pet.  Worm eggs can’t be seen with the naked eye so you won’t see them in the soil.  Adult dogs often don’t show signs of being sick from worms until they are infected with many of them.  By regularly deworming this helps prevent your dog from falling sick in the future.  Worms can also infect humans, so you are protecting yourself and family when you deworm your pet.
