Advocate is a spot-on treatment that treats and prevents flea infestations, including the larval stages. It also reduces the incidence of Flea Allergy Dermatitis and prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis. The formula also treats gastrointestinal worms like roundworms, hookworms and whipworms. This topical composition treats biting lice, ear mite infestation and demodicosis. It also treats and reduces circulating microfilariae, prevents angiostrongylosis, treats French heartworms and fox lungworms, prevents spirocercosis (Spirocerca lupi) and treats sarcoptic mange and eye worms. Advocate is formulated for dogs and puppies from 7 weeks of age.
