Doxysyrup Dosage for Dogs and Cats

For Dogs:

• Initial Dosage: Administer 5 mg/kg of Doxysyrup orally on the first day of treatment, divided into two equal doses of 2.5 mg/kg every 12 hours.
• Maintenance Dosage: Followed by a maintenance dose of 2.5 mg/kg daily, which can be given as a single dose or divided into two doses of 1.25 mg/kg every 12 hours.

For more severe infections, such as chronic urinary tract infections, a dosage of 5 mg/kg every 12 hours is recommended.

For Cats:

• Initial Dosage: Administer 5 mg/kg of Doxysyrup orally on the first day of treatment, divided into two equal doses of 2.5 mg/kg every 12 hours.
