Triworm-D Dewormer for Dogs is an effective deworming treatment, suitable for canines of all life stages. It comes in the form of easy-to-administer tablets, indicated to treat multiple species of intestinal worms. It offers coverage against ascarids, hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms. The treatment can also be used in pregnant queens up to 10 days before whelping.
Triworm-D Dewormer can also be used in pregnant queens till 10 days before whelping.
Triworm-D Dewormer is composed of three active ingredients, Praziquantel, Pyrantelpamoate and Febantel.
While Praziquantel kills tapeworms by disrupting their protective outer layer, Pyrantelpamoate paralyses and kills hookworms and ascarids (roundworms). Febantel, on the other hand, metabolises into compounds that targets nematode parasites such as whipworms and certain roundworms.
Triworm-D Dewormer is designed for dogs and shouldn’t be used to treat cats. If you are looking for a treatment to deworm your cat, you can opt for Triworm-C Dewormer.
Triworm-D Dewormer can be administered to dogs directly or mixed with a small amount of food.
Adult dogs should be dewormed every 3 – 6 months.
