Question from Patricia
I have a 2 year old kitty and she has a problem. She keeps licking her wounds so much so that she doesnt let them heal properly. What can I do to stop her from licking?
Our Vet Says:
Hi Patricia,
Cats lick their wounds to try help clean the wound and promote healing.  The problem is when the licking becomes continuous and this delays the wound from healing. You can use Avert Bitter Solution to stop her from licking. It is a non-toxic solution which is bitter in taste so your kitty will stop cleaning her wound to avoid the bitter taste.
