Keeping your dog protected from potentially dangerous external parasites should be your top priority; however, finding the right parasite-control treatment can be a daunting task. Ectodex Dip wash helps solve this problem for you. It offers protection from the common external parasites, including demodectic mange, sarcoptic mange, ticks and lice.
In this blog post, we will cover everything about Ectodex Dip, from its benefits to usage, so that you can get enough information before considering it for your furry friends.
Ectodex Dip is a highly effective and easy-to-administer dip wash, specifically designed to control external parasites in dogs. This powerful solution helps control demodectic mange, sarcoptic mange, ticks and lice on dogs. It is recommended for dogs of various breeds except Chihuahuas and may be used during pregnancy and lactation.
For safe and effective application of Ectodex Dip, follow the steps given below:
Recommended Dosage

Demodectic Mange: Repeat treatment 5 to 7 days later until no live mites can be identified or continue treatment for at least 3 weeks after all clinical signs have subsided. Occasionally, temporary drowsiness may occur after treatment for demodectic mange.
Sarcoptic Mange: Repeat treatment 7 to 10 days later.
Ticks and Lice: Repeat treatment as necessary.
Follow the instructions on the product label carefully and consult a veterinarian in case your pet exhibits any unusual signs.
Ectodex Dip stands out as a reliable, convenient and effective solution when dealing with demodectic mange, sarcoptic mange, ticks, and lice in dogs. You can easily safeguard your dog from these parasites when used according to label instructions. However, do not use it on Chihuahuas or heat-stressed dogs. Consult your veterinarian if you have any concerns about its usage and efficacy.
